The Pumpkin Pineapple Mask

written by Anna Peterson

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp. pumpkin puree

1 tbsp. fresh pineapple juice

1 tbsp. raw honey

INSTRUCTIONS

Measure out all your ingredients and place them in a small bowl. Whip them up until fully combined. You can use a spoon, whisk or even a blender.

 BENEFITS

This is your ideal DIY face mask for evening out skin tone. Pineapples are rich in enzymes and vitamin A, which works to naturally brighten your skin. Pumpkins are great for gentle exfoliation, helping with dull skin and hyperpigmentation. And when combined with hydrating honey, this mask will add a subtle plump to the skin.

APPLICATION

Just the tiniest amount is enough for this particular mask. You want to apply a thin layer across your skin. Since you’re not using a lot, put the extra stuff on your neck, chest and hands. But — please avoid your eye area. Ouch!

Let the mask sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

PSA: This mask won’t go bad for about a week or so. Feel free to put it in your fridge and get a second facial out of your homemade potion.
