INGREDIENTS
MILKSHAKE
- 3 c. strawberry ice cream (about 3 scoops)
- ¾ c. whole milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
STRAWBERRY TOPPING
- 1 c. strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. water
THE GOODIES
- Whipped cream
- 4 chocolate Pirouettes
- 2 whole strawberries
- Cocoa powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- To make the topping, combine the strawberries, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook over a low flame, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Remove from the heat once the mixture reaches jam consistency, about 10 minutes.
- For the milkshake, combine ice cream, milk and salt in a blender. Blend on medium to combine. If needed, add a bit more milk to achieve the desired consistency.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup along the inside of the glasses. Divide milkshake among glasses and add strawberry topping to each.
- Vertically cut the last 2 strawberries partway and place 1 on the rim of each glass. Top with whipped cream, then put 2 chocolate Pirouettes into each shake. Finish with a dusting of cocoa powder!
