written by Anna Peterson

Many houseplants remove carbon dioxide from the air during photosynthesis, helping you feel more energized and alert. Snake plants, Pothos, and Philodendron are just three kinds of air-purifying foliage that make a great addition to any home. Did you say productivity plant? Sign me up!

Have you struggled with houseplants in the past? Lucky for you, we know of a few low-maintenance plants that can withstand weeks of neglect and even overwatering. ZZ plants, English Ivy, Chinese Evergreen, and Golden Pothos are perfect for beginner (or forgetful) plant parents.
